Dr. Matthew Mechalko was born and raised in South Lyon Michigan, where he spent most of his time outdoors. Dr. Matt enjoys playing hockey, golf, disc golf, hiking, or enjoying time with friends and family at a local brewery. He attended and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Kinesiology. After college he moved to Nashville TN where his true interest in chiropractic came. After suffering from a shoulder/elbow injury that was keeping him from golfing he spent countless months doing rehab for it and seeing minimal to no results. He then decided to see a local chiropractor to whom got his shoulder/elbow feeling 100% within 8 visits. Dr. Matt then moved to Saint Louis MO where he attended and graduated from Logan University with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He then practiced in Greensboro NC at a sports chiropractic clinic before returning back home and opening his own clinic in Brighton Michigan.​

Dr. Matthew Mechalko is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Active Release Technique and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. He is trained in many techniques including Diversified adjusting, Motion Palpation & Joint Mobilization, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, along with various other soft tissue and rehabilitation techniques.
